Datablaze drives further into M2M space with new Cradlepoint Partnership

Datablaze has announced a new partnership with Cradlepoint, an industry leading cloud-delivered LTE solutions provider. This partnership is not just sanctioned by location- though both companies have chosen to call the Boise, Idaho area home- but by the vision for integration they share.

Cradlepoint has proven itself a formidable leader in the network connectivity space. A quick look into their trophy case would show the magnitude to which their technology has been endorsed by the market. They have won awards such as 2018 SD-WAN Market Leader and 2016 IoT Breakthrough Award Winner.

Dustin Gooden, VP of IoT at Datablaze is no stranger to Cradlepoint’s illustrious reputation, having worked for Cradlepoint in years past, in several roles, he’s remained a proponent. Dustin had the following to say about the partnership: “I’m really excited about what this partnership represents. Cradlepoint’s ability to provide unparalleled support to its customer falls directly in-line with our focus. Beyond that, this partnership will create a fierce competitor within the IoT space, a competitor whose primary focus is on that of the value placed on the customer and their needs. The industry needs companies with the ability to act quickly and be nimble, not react and tell you the fix is on a roadmap, scheduled for 2020. Combined, we have a lot of really bright people focused on customer needs. Stay tuned!”

Datablaze will be utilizing the “all-inclusive NetCloud Solution Packages” Cradlepoint provides and pairing it with their innovative M2M solutions. Clients should expect some impressive solutions from these two top-tier tech companies working together to fulfill the needs of IoT customer applications.

Datablaze welcomes new Vice President of IoT

Dustin Gooden

Datablaze welcomes new Vice President of IoT

Datablaze’s growing IoT presence has called for an additional directorate position, to which Datablaze has welcomed Dustin Gooden in as Vice President of IoT.

Gooden’s experience in the Internet of Things realm has been vast and successful. After helping Cradlepoint to successfully launch its channel partner program, he joined the Boston based leader in M2M and IoT, the Wyless Group, before the company’s acquisition by KORE and Abry Partners. During that time, he held the position of Director of Channel and Integrated Solutions, working to grow the companies channel and partner community.

Lance Hilton, CEO of Datablaze, commented, “Datablaze is pleased to have Dustin Gooden on board to propel our growth in the IoT space. His proven track record of developing sales and generating channel partners makes him the ideal candidate for this position. We look forward to seeing the growth he will inevitably lead Datablaze into.”

On becoming the new VP of IoT, Dustin stated, “Over the years I’ve had the chance to work with a large number of great companies, including Datablaze, but after seeing what Datablaze brought to the market, I knew I wanted to be a part of what they were building. After years of seeing customer needs not being met and a laundry list of seeing what customers value the most, I had found it. At Datablaze the focus is on the customer and designing tools that allow them to achieve exactly what they want, not what the executive team wants, and that’s allowed us to grow in this market. There are many platforms out there, but Id challenge any of them to say they were created by customers.”

Gooden has spent the last 13 years working and building relationships within the industry and is fully committed to expanding the reach of Datablaze’s platform with IoT users worldwide. Dustin will be responsible for the company’s market strategy and channel marketing, as well as developing new partnerships while building on past successes and amplifying Datablaze’s presence throughout the IoT community.

No more lost luggage thanks to datablaze’s gps technology

Losing your luggage can be a nightmare. If you’ve ever gone through this, you know it’s not something you’d wish on your worst enemy. Now you don’t have put the fate of your luggage into the hands and machinery of giant airports and airlines. Simply add a small GPS tracking device like the Blackhawk from DataBlaze and you can keep an eye on your luggage regardless of where it ends up. A couple of advantages of tracking your baggage include:

START YOUR VACATION IMMEDIATELY

If you are going on vacation, you probably didn’t pack everything you need in your carry-on. You may need a bathing suit or ski boots immediately. The last thing you want to do is have to wait for the airline to deliver your lost bag. With the Blackhawk, you’ll know exactly where your lost luggage is located, cutting down on the time spent waiting. Statistically speaking, anywhere from 1 to about 3 people out of 1000 will have their luggage lost during any given travel year. Don’t be a statistic any longer than you must be.

KEEP YOUR PRECIOUS ITEMS

Having lost items in the past, I now know NOT to pack things I care about in my checked baggage. But, sometimes this is unavoidable based on how much stuff you may be travelling with. Again, it would be nice if everything could fit into carry-on, but it’s just not realistic. There is no better insurance than having a GPS tracker stowed away for the ride. If the luggage is lost, you’ll know where it is, improving your odds of getting it back in one piece and in a timely manner.

There are dozens of reasons to use a GPS tracking system in your luggage when you travel. These are just a couple. For a small investment, you can travel easy knowing where your baggage is at all times!

Top 4 reasons to use gps tracking in your business!

Top 4 reasons to use gps tracking in your business!

In today’s business climate, it’s more important than ever to leverage technology to help you get ahead. GPS tracking technology is just one more opportunity to set yourself apart from your competition. How? While there are many ways for a company to use GPS trackers, we’ll focus on the top 4 reasons to make this technology a part of your business today!

CUT OPERATING EXPENSES

The obvious benefit to fleet managers is improved route planning. By pinpointing your vehicles and personnel, you’ll be able to get a better view of how their day is actually spent. By using a graphical map interface, managers can see where the vehicle went throughout the day, giving them a chance to improve tomorrow’s delivery or service times. Which leads to the next topic…customer service!

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Nothing shows a customer how important they are like being on time. If you’ve had difficulty in the past meeting deadlines, adding a GPS tracking system may be just what you need to improve your efficiency. As a business owner or manager, you don’t intentionally disappoint customers by being late. It’s likely that you just don’t know where the improvement areas lie. Now you will!

FIND YOUR VALUABLE ASSETS

Transporting assets is an enormous responsibility. Adding GPS trackers to sensitive or expensive loads will help you rest easier knowing exactly where that load is always. Not only can the load be pricey, the cost of that truck or trailer is often more than the load they’re carrying. Not to mention the lost work you’d experience if you didn’t have your truck or trailer.

SET BOUNDARIES

While this may sound a little harsh, we’re talking about physical boundaries, or Geo-Fences. Even the most dependable employees will stray from time-to-time while on company time. Given the fact that “knowledge is power”, you’ll have the knowledge of exactly where your vehicle/employee has been and how long they’ve been there. Simply set a Geo-Fence around an area and you’ll be alerted as to when a vehicle leaves or enters that space. You can then determine if it’s excessive or not. Again, knowledge is power!

Datablaze and harley davidson launch motogps in las vegas!

This summer, DataBlaze and Harley Davidson make sharing your love of the open road easier than ever. With the addition of MotoGPS from DataBlaze you’ll be able to watch other members of your group in real-time via live mapping. Emilee Faulkner, sales manager at DataBlaze says the initial launch will focus on the Las Vegas market. She said, “We are very excited to team up with Harley Davidson to launch our MotoGPS platform! It will revolutionize the way riders share their experience.” DataBlaze is an industry leader in the world of GPS tracking. Their innovative graphic interface makes tracking your motorcycle easier than ever.

MotoGPS is a real-time GPS tracking platform that allows users to share their location, ride statistics, trip details and more via social media. All of this can be updated in two second increments. It also provides security features such as ignition kill and device location tracking. According to esurance.com, stolen motorcycles are less likely to be recovered. The insurance company says, “the stolen-motorcycle recovery rate is quite low: only about 30 percent, compared with roughly 60 percent for cars.” If your bike is stolen, simply shut off the ignition and follow the live mapping function to find your ride! Don’t be a statistic!

This summer, make MotoGPS and Harley Davidson a part of your good times! If you ride alone or in a large group, nothing makes riding more fun than sharing your experiences with your friends and family.
