Technical Support Specialist
We are a leading software provider in the GPS and Data industry and we are looking for a self-starter who is excited about working in the GPS field. This position may start part-time at 25-30 hrs per week or full-time depending on qualifications. Starting part-time will come with potential to move into full-time with full-time benefits.
What you'll be doing:
We are looking for someone who is comfortable doing everything from preparing packages for shipment and providing customer support to QA-ing software systems and handling aspects of new product integrations.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess excellent phone and email etiquette
- Be a team player that is excited to take on new roles
- Be detail oriented & have a high level of accountability
- Be comfortable diagnosing product issues
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
Duties Include:
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users
- Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions to recurring issues
- Shipping & inventory management
- Quality control, product testing, and product integrations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical support or help desk role
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting and IT support principles would be beneficial
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
Anticipated hours: 25 – 40 per week (M-F)
